Magellanic 2.0

Introducing our Canary Shortboard, designed and fine-tuned in the Canary Islands during 2017-2018. Created for surfers seeking a versatile board that balances power and control, it excels in a variety of conditions—from smaller, weaker waves to more challenging surf. The medium rocker provides excellent maneuverability, while the optimized bottom contours deliver precision and responsiveness through turns. Easy to paddle and quick to catch waves, this board is a reliable companion whether you’re charging bigger swells or cruising on smaller days.

This board is a result of focused experimentation with shorter designs to create an all-around performance board that handles it all.

Humboldt

The all-new Humboldt, refined and perfected based on real-world feedback from the Atlantic and Baltic seas. This board has been crafted to inspire confidence in heavier waves, while maintaining the versatility to handle a range of conditions. The familiar Humboldt rocker is paired with a slightly deeper concave, enhancing lift and quickening transitions for high-performance surfing. The nose rocker prevents any catching on steep take-offs, and the slight hip in the outline facilitates fast, responsive turns.

This Humboldt edition retains its signature blend of control and speed, with a clean and balanced foil that delivers predictable response even in critical situations. Designed for a range of conditions from chest-high to double overhead, this is the ultimate board for pushing your limits and mastering every wave that comes your way.

Designed for high performance and ease of use, the Humboldt is a must-have for any quiver, capable of transforming any session into a powerful experience.

Squid

Introducing the updated Squid, a board that literally runs on water. With its effortless glide, fast ride, and excellent vertical capabilities, it’s the perfect blend of a classic fish shape and high-performance design elements. The generous volume under the chest ensures easy paddling and wave-catching, while the refined wings in the tail allow for quicker, more responsive turns.

Favored by the shaper and many surfers since its launch, the Squid has been a standout in Finland’s diverse wave conditions. Its fish-like traits surprise and delight those who ride it, making it a go-to board for anyone looking to elevate their performance and fun in the water.

The Squid combines paddle power, speed, and versatility, making it a top choice for surfers looking to enjoy any session to the fullest.

Rock Hopper

Introducing the Rock Hopper, Pinguino’s all-time favorite board since 2014. This model has undergone numerous modifications over the years, each refinement bringing it closer to perfection. The latest edition of the Rock Hopper comes with fine-tuned details and enhanced performance features, making it the ideal surfboard for a variety of conditions. A true staple on the Baltic Sea, you’ll spot these boards in nearly every session.

Designed specifically to handle weaker, slower waves, the Rock Hopper combines the best of a high-volume fish design with modern performance attributes. Its full and rounded outline offers exceptional stability, while the low rocker with a slight lift in the tail keeps the board engaged and maneuverable. The extra width through the middle provides forgiving turns, and the foil gradually tapers towards the tail to maintain sensitivity off the back foot, perfect for quick rail-to-rail transitions.

The rails are boxy throughout, transitioning into a hard edge at the tail to enhance control and responsiveness through turns. The bottom contours feature a light vee in the nose, transitioning into a single-to-double concave through the fin area. This combination creates lift, speed, and smooth rail transitions—everything you need to dominate weak waves with ease.

A 5-fin setup offers versatile options: ride it as a quad for maximum speed and drive in flatter waves, or switch to a thruster for more traditional rail-to-rail surfing.

Dragon Fish

The Dragon Fish was originally designed in the Canary Islands as an experimental project. The board quickly gained popularity among testers, and due to its success, we decided to refine it into a production model as a tribute to hydrodynamic innovation.

The Dragon Fish combines the down-the-line speed of a hybrid concept board with the manoeuvrability of a shortboard. The straight middle outline generates extra velocity, while the pointy nose paired with a winged swallow tail provides a smooth release and maintains that shortboard-like feeling. The result is a highly versatile board that excels in a variety of conditions.

Ride this board with a standard thruster setup for more powerful waves or opt for a twin + trailer fin combo in smaller surf for a looser feel and extra flow. If we could take just one board on an around-the-world trip, the Dragon Fish would be it!

Fishy

The Fishy has undergone several years of testing both in the water and in the shaping bay. The result is a board that is not only easy to paddle but also highly responsive and maneuverable—a modern take on the classic fish that’s suitable for all skill levels.

This board lights up in a wide range of conditions, making it an ideal choice whether you’re riding Baltic beach breaks or smaller point waves. Designed with a blend of retro fish characteristics and modern performance features, the Fishy features updated rockers and refined rails for steeper take-offs and increased control. The extra width through the midsection and shorter length help maintain stability and drive, while its compact shape allows for sharp turns and effortless maneuverability in the pocket.

The bottom contours include a slight single concave that transitions into a vee through the tail, ensuring smooth rail-to-rail transitions and plenty of lift and speed off the bottom. Paired with the right fin setup, the Fishy is a lively, fun board that excels in weaker waves while still providing enough performance to push your limits in more challenging conditions.
